This event will be hosted by the Alice ISD Education Foundation , a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to serve and support Alice ISD Teachers and Students through funding Innovative Teaching Grants, Student Scholarships, and recognition for teachers and staff. The Foundation has also supported Operation Graduation and Back to School events.

Community leaders have come together to form a foundation to support Alice schools. The Alice Independent School District Education Foundation has announced their focus to enhance community support and to expand resources that enrich teaching and inspire learning for all students in the Alice school district.
The sole purpose of the newly formed Alice ISD Education Foundation is to benefit the school district by providing funds for educational programs and activities that are not funded by the normal operating budget. These funds will be used to facilitate student achievement and skill development, to recognize and encourage staff excellence, and to expand community involvement from individuals, businesses and civic organizations.
Funding priorities will include funds for innovation teaching grants that will provide resources directly to the classroom for teachers to implement exciting new educational programs. The grant process will be established and teachers and staff will be eligible to participate in requesting mini-grants.
The Alice Independent School District Foundation is a charitable 501 (c) (3) organization and contributions are tax-deductible. The foundation has partnered with Foundation Innovation to establish the Alice ISD Foundation from its inception.
